HOW WE WORK  

 

Stopgap is run by its founders: director Mick Loftus, general manager Valerie Loftus and administrator John Maxwell. 

 

All three were members of Acton Dramatic Society and formed Stopgap in 1985.

 

We  produced plays and music shows for both groups till 1989 when the Acton group folded in its 80th year and Stopgap became an independent production company.

There are no membership fees, no formal auditions, no committees, no AGMs. All we ask is a commitment to teamwork and "the Stopgap family".
